The Elementary K-2 Certified Teacher is responsible for teaching students in grades K-2, focusing on literacy instruction and phonemic awareness. The teacher must be proficient in the Science of Reading and demonstrate mastery in five pillars of literacy: phonological & phonemic awareness, phonics & word recognition, fluency instruction, vocabulary development, and text comprehension.
