    We are seeking a smart, resourceful *Customer Service Representative *at their _*1554 S. Main Street, Akron, OH,*_ location. *Hours* for this position will be *Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm*. Additional working hours may be required as business dictates.

    *Position Summary: The *Customer Service Representative *is the "company ambassador" to our customers. This position assists with the placement of orders by delivering successful solutions. Providing complete customer satisfaction is the key to providing world class customer service. This position acts as the liaison between the customer and the company and is responsible for ensuring all customer needs are met.

    *Duties and Responsibilities*:
    • Deliver an excellent customer experience with every interaction; day-to-day interaction with customers, sales and distributors providing requested information and support relative to price, availability, and lead times.
    • Assisting customers with product information, use and applications, as well as technical specification information.
    • Accepting and preparing orders, maintaining order files, satisfying requests for order follow-up, and expediting and tracing shipments.
    • Collaborate daily with sales and operations teams to meet or exceed customer expectations; coordinating with various functional teams within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
    • Proactively communicate status to customers throughout the order cycle; process orders quickly and with accuracy; manage online ordering and customer response; place and cancel orders.
    • Suggest solutions when a product malfunctions.
    • Seek new opportunities and change through desire to learn. Dedicate yourself to continuous improvement of all processes that affect our customers.
    • Develop and nurture strong relationships while collaborating with customers and all functional departments. Your personal accountability and pride for always delivering the best will engage others and cultivate successful outcomes for our customers.
    *Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Demonstrate strong customer mindset
    • Ability to multitask - type while listening, view multiple screens and systems
    • Desire and tolerance to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily demands
    • Well-rounded written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Technology skills including use of various computer software programs
    • Excellent attendance history.
    • Ability to effectively manage orders processes
    • Data entry/order entry experience
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    *Education and/or experience required*:
    • High School Diploma required, College Degree is a plus
    • Must have minimum 3-5 years of experience working as a customer service role.
    • PC proficiency, including advanced capabilities in Excel and Outlook
