    Job Description

  • Supervises and coordinates the activities of the clerical staff, Staff Technologist and Radiologic Technology Students.
  • Evaluates and provides feedback regarding individual and team performance.
  • Recommends merit increases and corrective actions for staff within scope of responsibility.
  • Ensures that procedures are performed accurate and in a timely manner.
  • Ensures that equipment/supplies are maintained and used properly.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, patients and physicians as required.
  • Stays abreast of the latest advances and procedures in radiology.
  • Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures Guidelines.
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient operation of 3-11 PM shift.
  • All other duties as assigned.
    Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
  • Registered by ARRT and Licensed as required by the State of Mississippi (MRT).
  • Have a minimum of 3 years Technical Radiographic experience required.
  • Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Serves patient population categories of infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

    American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and Mississippi Radiation Technologist Licensure

    Education

    Associates of Related Field
