The Construction & Maintenance Technician position pays between $44,331 to $55,414
This role is an introduction to a long career with us We offer paid training varied settings daily You will find the workday interesting as you provide labor support for construction maintenance installation emergency response on our gas distribution/transmission lines Primary Duties Responsibilities Prepare job sites for safe operation Frequent work around live gas mains services performing taps stop-offs tie-ins Excavate site using manual tools excavating machinery shoring following all safety procedures Installation maintenance steel pipe or non-steel systems Polyethylene PE plastic pipe utilizing heat fusion electrofusion Perform various safety tests including pressure tests on gas pipelines Operate perform preventative corrective inspections company vehicles equipment Senior Level Entry Level Duties Plus Additional Responsibilities Successful Candidate Must Have A high school diploma or GED Valid driver's license acceptable driving record Construction & Maintenance Tech: years experience ability obtain maintain New Mexico Commercial Driver's License CDL within year hire through company-provided paid training Sr. Construction & Maintenance Tech: years experience CDL Journeyman Gas Fitter's License JGL dependent location Preferences Possession Class A CDL time hire prior utility construction experience Working Conditions Construction field environment May be required overtime call Will exposed year-round outside weather conditions Personal protective equipment required Regularly stand walk ability bend twist balance climb frequently Occasionally sit drive vehicles operate heavy equipment Manual dexterity lift carry maneuver up pounds by reaching handling kneeling crouching
