Join us in shaping Seattle's streets at the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT). We're tackling big challenges: making travel safer, cutting carbon emissions, and ensuring reliable transportation for everyone.As a Permit Services Reviewer you will manage use of the public right-of-way minimizing impacts to City residents neighborhoods infrastructure. You will review permit applications ensuring compliance issuing approvals as appropriate keep detailed documentation decisions communications coach applicants on permitting process via Microsoft Teams meetings WebEx phone email in person based on team counter coaching schedule pre-application coaching meetings maintain shift coverage scheduled counter coverage electronically based meetings provide backup coverage shifts scheduled attend support in person meetings site visits trainings customer coaching sessions act liaison consultants contractors subcontractors city host facilitate construction project management related meeting agenda development follow-up meeting notes check document compliance agencies requirements provide technical support interpreting code validate fee calculations oversee efforts coordinate other workgroups disputes withdrawals permits identify coordinate impacted stakeholders work closely SDOT district inspectors address track issues adapt changing codes requirements maintaining flexibility promote equity diversity race social justice SDOT.
