    We are potentially hiring for a qualified civilian Optometrist to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our veterans and their families at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California.

    Time Schedule: 24/7 Excellent financial package designed to attract compassionate, top performers Independent Contractor The Optometrist will have the following qualifications: Degree: Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from a school or college of optometry accredited by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE) and approved by the Air Force Surgeon General in the year of the applicants graduation.


    Experience:
    Applicants must have 2 years of general TPA practice of optometry or one year of ACOE accredited post-graduate residency training in an appropriate specialty area


    Licensure:
    Must have a permanent, full, and unrestricted therapeutic pharmaceutical agents (TPA) license to practice optometry in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or in the District of Columbia


    Certifications:

    Must be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Due to contractual obligations with the DoD, Health Care Workers performing under this contract must either be a U.S.

    citizen, or as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S.

    Citizenship and Immigration Services, either a noncitizen national of the United State, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or alien authorized to work in the United States.
