Job Summary
We are looking to hire motivated young scientists (PhD) level eager to build a career in cancer drug development. The Kaur laboratory is well funded and a recognized international leader in cancer biotherapeutic drug development.
Recently graduated fellows are invited to apply to join a team with a drive to find cures for brain tumors and other solid cancers.
Successful candidates will be recent PhD graduates with a passion to do research. All fellows in Dr. Kaur's laboratory have access to state of the art equipment and facilities.The candidate will be provided with the mentoring tools and resources needed to make them future leaders in the field.
Past trainees are currently serving as directors, chairperson, faculty and independent investigators in academia, or as senior scientists in pharma pursuing productive careers in science.
Several of the laboratory's findings are currently being evaluated for safety and efficacy in first in human trials. The candidate will be part of a translational team driven with a passion to destroy cancer.The candidate will have access to state-of-the-art technology and will be encouraged and mentored to build a career as a future leader.

D. degree from an accredited college or university
Preferred Qualifications
PhD, with preferred research in cancer related area. Experience with tissue culture, molecular biology and small animal handling is desired.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality. Detail-oriented. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift; Days; Monday - Friday (work outside of the normal business hours will likely be required of an employee in an exempt level position)
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
Recruitment Period: 9/15/2- Until Filled
Augusta University offers a variety of benefits to full-time benefits-eligible employees and some of our half-time (or more) employees.
