TEC GROUP IS SEEKING A HIGHLY SKILLED SR. BUYER TO JOIN OUR AEROSPACE MANUFACTURING CLIENT IN THE CAMARILLO AREA.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT.

As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services.

Your expertise in supply chain management and knowledge of various systems will be crucial in optimizing our purchasing operations.


Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet company objectives
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong vendor relationships
• Experience purchasing items such as castings, forgings, machined parts, etc.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements, including Engineering (NPI), Accounting, Manufacturing, Quality, etc.
• Utilize MRP systems to manage inventory levels and ensure timely procurement
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve any issues or disputes, and implement corrective actions as needed

Degree BS or BA degree
5+ years recent buying experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment; or 7+ years aerospace buying experience with AS degree or non-degreed
