    As Solutions Engineer in Retirement Planning Data team you will be responsible for all aspects of software development lifecycle in support of systems, processes and integrations across internal and external partners. You will be responsible for solution design of reusable, cloud-native capabilities partnering with enterprise teams to implement cloud standards and best practices. Your technical influence expands across the whole product lifecycle, taking accountability for quality across solution architecture, design, development and operations. You will collaborate and influence solution direction for the ingestion, integration and delivery of data across multiple platforms in partnership with internal and external data providers in the Retirement Services domain. You will partner with RPS business to plan and execute initiatives following IT and product strategy, providing leadership through innovation, critical thinking, collaboration and operational excellence. You will influence our shift left approach in the team and expected to be hands-on supporting testing efforts and release activities.

  • You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or a related technical field.
  • You have 5+ years of work experience providing technical leadership to design and development of enterprise solutions.
  • You have 3+ years of work experience designing, developing and supporting AWS cloud solutions, developing Microservices and APIs, and event driven solutions using KafKa, MQ or similar technologies.
  • You have working experience demonstrating leadership, interpersonal savviness, and problem-solving skills with the ability to continually learn new concepts and technologies and effectively apply them.
  • You write and optimize advanced SQL queries with large-scale, complex datasets.
  • Working experience influencing solution design in an enterprise environment, collaborating with your team and across enterprise
  • Technical knowledge of system optimization, performance tuning and query optimization across large data sets; and experience handling bottlenecks at the storage, network or compute layers
  • Southern California Base Salary Range: $116,974-$187,158
