    Description
    Fort Worth, Texas-based company is currently in search of an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team for a contract role. Join a collaborative environment at this Fortune 500 transportation company where cutting-edge technology is utilized to address business challenges efficiently.

    Responsibilities:
    • Participate in all stages of the development process, promoting agile practices and test-driven development.
    • Analyze, design, and test reusable objects using object-oriented development tools.
    • Enhance the codebase and leverage the latest technology to solve business problems.

    Requirements:
    • Demonstrated ability to strategically plan for current and future business landscapes.
    • Deep understanding of IT business operations and systems requirements.
    • Proficiency in TCP/IP networks and OSI model layers.
    • Experience with various networking solutions such as routers, firewalls, and VPN tunnels.
    • Familiarity with Akamai load balancing, TCP/IP, DNS, FTP/SFTP, among others.
    • Hands-on experience with Terraform scripting and Azure cloud platforms.
    • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Kubernetes monitoring applications.
    • Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in Agile project management methodology within the infrastructure domain.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 3 years of experience in network or infrastructure engineering.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience in network or infrastructure engineering.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide insights into server load balancing and application scaling concepts.
    • Troubleshoot middleware issues across different environments.
    • Ensure applications adhere to enterprise standards and suggest improvements.
    • Promote teamwork and sharing within the team.
    • Stay updated on technology best practices and recommend enhancements.
    • Offer technical guidance and support to team members.
    • Travel as needed and participate in on-call support rotations.
