    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Execution and support of rotating machinery and auxiliary systems, including lube oil systems, heat exchangers, filtration equipment, silencers, etc.). Responsibilities with other equipment include pumping services with cryogenic liquids and high-pressure Boiler Feed Water.
    • Communicate and support project engineers, managers, owners engineers and suppliers on a regional basis in the specifics of machinery project execution.
    • Select and specify mechanical equipment.
    • Provide detailed drawing review and feedback to equipment OEMs
    • Critical supplier design audits of major machinery to develop a full understanding of risks associated with machinery designs.
    • Follow project from specification process, through design and manufacture, construction and installation, commissioning, and resolution of field issues.
    • Develop, plan, and implement QA/QC plans related to testing of machinery.
    • Ability to bring knowledge and experience from plant operating environment to improve best practices.
    • Support Operations with significant operational issues of equipment and provide expert assistance in plant commissioning and troubleshooting.
    • Support Operations on emergent rotating equipment issues and catastrophic failures. Sufficient experience is necessary to work independently without support of OEMs.
    • Support and execute projects in multiple geographies as the business requires.
    • Interface as needed with Production and Reliability teams
    • Participate in P&ID and HAZOP reviews.
    • Prepare and implement construction packages, QA/QC certification and commissioning.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years experience in machinery development/design/fabrication/operation with at least 5 years in an operational or engineering environment
    • Demonstrated exceptional operational safety leadership.
    • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
    • Broad knowledge of centrifugal, reciprocating, and other compression equipment
    • Knowledgeable and experienced working with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of compressors, pumps, fans, turbines, blowers, gearboxes, and their auxiliary systems.
    • Knowledge of machinery controls and protection systems
    • Experience with Industrial Gases or petrochemical projects is a plus
    • Ability to travel. Up to 40% field time
