    Job Title: LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)

    Full Time, Days

    Job Description:

    • Assist in directing nursing services for unit/hall following the Nursing Practice Act and supervised by a Registered Nurse.
    • Delegate duties to nursing personnel and oversee their performance under RN supervision.
    • Observe patients for symptoms, physical, and mental conditions for potential changes.
    • Notify attending physician of emergencies and patient deaths, implementing order changes as directed.
    • Perform any other assigned duties.

    Job Requirements:

    • High school graduate.
    • Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing.
    • Hold a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
    • Be willing to work as charge nurses and cover emergencies when needed.
    • Provide quality nursing care, follow doctors' orders, and have a passion for geriatric nursing.
    • Current CPR certification.
    • Participate in in-service training and required staff meetings.
