    Within the framework of the objectives and policies established by the Company, plans and coordinates care objectives that promote quality within the Company both within and outside the Company.

    Right at Home provides in-home care for seniors and disabled adults. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. The company is based in Waldorf, Maryland.

    We are currently looking for a creative, passionate, and enthusiasticRegistered Nurse (RN) Coordinatorto complete assessments for new and current clients.

    Essential FunctionsEnsures compliance with company policy and all federal, state, and local regulating bodies and conditions of participationRemains informed and updated on home health regulations and standardsEnsures all relevant high-risk data is communicated to staff prior to the start of careEnsures documentation is accurate and complete within each client's chartSchedules and supervises all nursing functions while maintaining complete compliance with federal and state regulationsMaintains an ongoing liaison with clients, client families, company employees, and outside contractorsArranges and negotiates services provided through contractual agreementsEnsures the quality of patient care and service by using specialized knowledge and judgment to assure patient care standards are in compliance with applicable State Practice acts and Agency policiesPromotes a positive image of the Agency within the office and in the communityEnsure that Quality Assurance is the focus and we are following Client Experience policies and proceduresAdditional (non-essential) Functions1.

    Represent the agency before the public as required2. Builds and maintains trusting relationships with all stakeholders.3. Works both in the office and in clients homes as required for assessments and supervisory visits.4. Display high knowledge in the agency service lines, service fees, and client base5.

    Able to propose services and institutes contractual agreements with clientsEDUCATION / SKILLS / ABILITIESActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland that is in good standingRead, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the jobHealth physical (meets the health requirements for employees providing direct patient care)Complete tax forms (W9)Background check release authorizationCurrent CPR Certification.

    Have a valid driver's license and an insured automobile.
    Must be able to demonstrate a two-person transfer with a Hoyer Lift for educational purposesPreferred

    Experience:
    Excellent Documentation skillsKnowledge of common geriatric medicationsG-J TubeS/P Catheter careG-button care and useQuadriplegic experience
