    Job Description

    The Mail Handler Assistant role is an entry-level position that involves working behind the scenes to move, load, and sort mail and packages in postal facilities.

    • Load, unload, and move mail and packages using carts, containers, and equipment
    • Sort mail by size, destination, and type to prepare it for processing and delivery
    • Operate basic mail-handling equipment after training (conveyors,sorters etc)
