    What does a DSD Route Planner do at Swire Coca-Cola?Collaborate with sales and field operations to define and develop strategic sales, distribution, and vending plans aligned to business strategies.

    The Route Planner creates routes that will increase profitability through planning that grows revenue and improves efficiencies. This position is a key driver in creating and managing route plans that align the rest of supply chain.

    ResponsibilitiesCalculate impacts on route plans by analyzing historical and future data such as distribution changes and sales realignment to best understand necessary changes to route planDefine, develop, and deploy strategic sales territory, distribution, and vending plans by collaborating with Sales & Field Operations to align business strategiesFrequently engaging with sales and field operations either in person or via conference call for shoulder to shoulder, communication routines and educational activitiesLead in projects that improve quality and efficiencies in the areas of the business that Supply Chain supports by presenting education materials and guiding sales center teams through changesAnalyze data on information produced from CONA to identify opportunities in a marketplace to maximize profitability, support effective, efficient Planning and Field Operations executionPerforms other duties as assignedRequirementsHigh School Diploma (or GED) required2-4 years supply chain/logistical experience with strong customer service skills required andPrior experience with Microsoft Office applicationsNeeds to have current knowledge of PowerPoint layout, animations and content designPrior experience with SAP or a similar platformPrior experience with Roadnet or a similar logistic softwareStrong interpersonal relationship building skills requiredMust be willing to travel 50-60% of timeAbility to work weekends and holidays as directed by the businessSwire Coca-Cola is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer that participates in the E-Verify program as required by law.
