is seeking Regional Medical Directors to lead the

Gotham Health Network

for

NYC Health + Hospitals , the largest public health care system in the country. Opportunities available in Brooklyn of New York City.

provides coordinated care using the best clinical practices and tools to manage patient health. We provide the full spectrum of care for children and adults.

Because we are part of the largest public health care system in the country, we can provide easy referrals to a vast network of hospitals, home care services, nursing homes and specialty care providers across the city.

This position is responsible for Gotham Health's New York Northern Brooklyn locations, including East New York, Bedford, Bushwick Communicare, Greenpoint, Fort Greene, Sumner, Williamsburg, Brownsville, Crown Heights, Jonathan Williams, and Homecrest.

Responsibilities

Create clinical strategy for ambulatory care transformation across the overseen Region of sites (Brooklyn)Integrate and implement evidence-based clinical practicesProvide direct patient care at a minimum of 2 clinical sessions per weekQuality analytics, clinical reporting, and risk managementAssessment of clinical providersFinance, budget, and reimbursementsRecruitment strategiesTravel to sites within the Brooklyn Region will be requiredQualifications

Medical DoctorateBoard Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or equivalent care of specializationUnrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of New YorkMasters degree with a specialization in Health Care Administration, Administrative Medicine or in Public Health from an accredited college or universityTen (10) years of full-time paid clinical experience, including five (5) years of supervisory experienceAn equivalent combination of training, education and experience in related fields and educational disciplinesKnowledge of business and human resources administration principles, faculty practice and financeExperience with FQHC, preferredKnowledge of EPIC Electronic medical recordsExceptional Benefits Include:
