Description
Work can be done by either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
We are currently searching for the ideal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to carry out medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits evaluation process.
When conducting Disability Assessments, you will be responsible for reviewing medical records electronically via a web portal and conducting a focused, in-person physical examination on each Veteran.
You will then proceed to electronically record the examination findings required by the VA through the designated web portal.
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is NOT involved in making disability determinations; this responsibility lies solely with the United States Veterans Administration.
This role focuses exclusively on performing Disability Assessments on Veterans. There will be no treatment or prescription of medication involved.
As part of this role, you will be conducting Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans on a daily basis.
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8am-4pm)
This is a face-to-face position.
