    DEPARTMENT: Health Informatics
    JOB SUMMARY: This role involves working as a specialist to identify technology and equipment needs, as well as installing, implementing, and providing support for the Tulalip Health System. Responsibilities include coordinating with the Health Informatics team and Tulalip Health System personnel to obtain, install, support, and train staff on healthcare applications and associated hardware. The Clinical Informatics Specialist will also act as a Medical Assistant to new professional staff, ensuring they maintain their medical knowledge base and understand clinic patient flow. This position may also require community interaction with tribal members for interviews and data gathering.
    COMPENSATION: $33.27 per hour
    MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    • Bachelor's Degree in a Clinical Discipline, Informatics, Business Management, or a graduate of an accredited program in Medical Assistant (MA), Nursing (LPN or RN), or Pharmacy Tech.
    MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
    • Three (3) years' experience in healthcare or healthcare-related IT field
    • Three (3) years' end-user experience with RPMS, EPIC, or similar electronic health records
    • One (1) year experience working with a Native Community (preferred)
    REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
    • Negative TB Skin Test or chest X-ray
    • CPR/First Aid certificate
    • Credentialed Trainer in EPIC Ambulatory or related experience in electronic medical records applications (preferred)
    • Must abide by the department's vaccination policy
    • Must complete HIPAA training upon hire
    • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check
    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular Full-Time position.
