Prepare ingredients by washing chopping slicing and measuring to support the kitchen's daily menu needs Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions from kitchen supervisors Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations ensuring compliance with food safety standards at all times Handle food items safely during storage preparation and service to prevent contamination or spoilage Putting away deliveries when they arrive organized and rotated Experience Hands-on experience in food preparation cooking or restaurant environments demonstrates a strong foundation in kitchen operations Knowledge of menu planning and food handling best practices is beneficial Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation standards is essential for success in this role Culinary experience including knife skills meal preparation and food service enhances your ability to excel as a Prep Cook Experience working in the food industry or catering settings provides valuable insight into high-volume food production Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are key qualities for this position
