Accentuate Staffing has an immediate direct hire onsite opportunity for a Controller with an established Construction company in Raleigh, NC. The Controller will lead, direct and oversee the daily accounting functions for the company in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the Company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounting function for the Company including job cost setup and updates to ensure timely entry and conformity with company job costing system. Monitor Job cost updates, job estimates, overhead costs, and accounts payable/receivables to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist with purchase of insurance, setting up costs, risk management, and contractual risk transfer.
• Assist with data reporting and analysis projects as requested by Management
• Supervising a Team of five
• Set clear and attainable goals for teams, holding each team member accountable. Responsible for building high-performing teams through best practices in recruiting, hiring, mentoring, training/development, providing feedback through evaluations of direct reports and employee engagement.
• Promote and support good internal and external relationships throughout all divisions and departments of the Company, with clients and the public.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree or an equivalent combination of work and experience preferred.
• 5+ years of Accounting experience; 3+ years of Construction Accounting experience
• CPA or CMA is a plus
• ViewPoint Construction Software experience a plus
• Comfortable with MS Office
• Extensive knowledge of accounting processes, AP, AR & General Ledger
• Supervisory experience
• Extensive knowledge of Construction Accounting
• Ability to build strong working relationships
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of integrity
• Strong Conflict management skills
