    Description
    Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant. This opportunity is contract to hire. It is a hybrid work schedule with an office in Warminster, PA. The in-office requirement is 2-3 days and there is flexibility with which days are in-office.

    The Senior Accountant is responsible for monitoring the financial resources of the agency, supporting the fiscal reporting functions, and monitoring and completing various aspects of the month-end close.

    Along with the Controller, this position is responsible for the utilization of the general ledger software.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Manage cash management tools weekly as assigned. Serve as backup for remote deposits. Assist Controller with credit balance refunds forpatients as needed. Record monthly patient revenue recognition using billingpartner reports. Assist the Controller in ensuring that the data in thegeneral ledger is posted timely and accurately. Prepare monthly journal entries and accountreconciliations according to internal schedules. Reconcile the organizations bank accounts. Ensure that department heads, managers and other staffreceive regular financial reporting to support their budgeting and financialmanagement responsibilities. Serve as Finance resource in grant administration teamand prepare monthly release from restrictions entries for review/approval bythe Controller. Liaison to Development Department. Manage monthlyreconciliation of donation revenue and assist with the development andmonitoring of budgets needed for funding opportunities. Assist the Controller and CFO with the annual budgetpreparation. Coordinate information requests and material preparationfor external auditors. Assist Controller with other reporting as needed. Adhere to all HIPAA and patient privacy regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller.


    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    Required:
    Bachelors Degree, or equivalent experience - 5 years experience inaccounting and financial management required. Strong knowledge of accounting practices and principles. Advanced computer skills, including competency inMicrosoft Office software, affiliate email, Internet, patient managementsystems and financial accounting software systems. Experience with BlackbaudFinancial Edge preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills thatenable work in a collaborative and multifaceted team environment. Ability to write clear, persuasive, and informativereports, correspondence, and procedural instructions.

    Ability to analyze and interpret concrete and abstractdata, business and professional journals, technical procedures, financialreports, and applicable government laws and regulations.

    Preferred:
