    Job Summary:


    Operates a commercial vehicle to transport water and/or other materials to job sites; distributes water and/or materials on job site

    All prospective candidates should enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather, be open to working in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability provide excellent service to internal and external customers. CDL license not required.

    Main Responsibilities:



    • Embrace the Company's safety culture, actively support all safety initiatives, and adhere to defined accountabilities implemented by the Safety Steering and Continuous Improvement teams

    • Support, promote, and practice the Company core values, vision, and mission; follow code of ethics, workplace conduct, safety, and other established policies

    • Perform pre- and post-trip safety inspections on truck to ensure safe operation of vehicle

    • Ensure safe operation of vehicle; document and report required maintenance and/or repair to maintenance team

    • Follow procedures for safe operation of vehicle, including securing cargo before, during, and after transit, and positioning blocks as required

    • Follows procedures required to connect/disconnect hoses and water lines for tank fill and distribution of water

    • Maintain a clean vehicle, including vehicle exterior and interior of operator cab

    • Safely operate assigned vehicle(s); may be required to operate multiple types of vehicles

    • Assist in loading and unloading of materials in truck bed

    • Prepare bill of lading and/or similar documentation for loads transported

    • Maintain accurate documentation related to job assignments as required by the Company

    • Maintain regular contact with supervisor to receive pick-up and delivery instructions

    • Maintain driver logs according to state and federal regulations

    • Perform other projects and duties related to role as assigned

    Education:


    Class B CDL with tanker endorsements and valid medical card required, Class A with tanker endorsement and valid medical card preferred; candidates may be considered based on ability to obtain licensing

    Skills:



    • 2 or more years of commercial driving experience preferred

    • Prior experience in construction or similar industry a plus

    • Ability to maintain a clean driving record and compliance with applicable FMCSA CDL driver requirements

    • Ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers and other team members

    • Ability to read and write, and understand basic documents

    Physical Requirements:



    • Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

    • Occasionally required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds

    • Required to work from a seated position driving a commercial vehicle for long periods

    • Regularly required to climb in and out of vehicles and/or equipment

    • Regularly required to use hands to handle and manipulate objects, including vehicle components, and secure hoses, chains, and/or couplings

    • Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear)

    • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

    • Regularly required to stand and walk across uneven terrain

    • Frequent exposure to loud noise

    • Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles, exposure to high temperatures

    • Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals

    • Occasional travel with overnight stays away from home may be required

    Compensation*:$24-$28/Hr DOE

    *Estimated target starting compensation; actual compensation to be determined based on assessment of an individual's qualifications, education, and experience relevant to the role.
