Dental One Associates is a well-established, successful practice, where we truly value our hygienists and the important role they play in our success.
We work closely as a team in our state-of-the-art facility, utilizing the latest technologies such as; Overjet, CBCT scanner, hygiene lasers, and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), to ensure our patients get superior care, while also ensuring our hygienists have what they need to do quality work they will be proud of.
As with most offices, we've had employees leave to explore other opportunities, but our employees find their way back to us.
Previous experience working as a hygienist is always great, but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply as well.
Our office is centrally located in Waldorf and is close to St. Charles residential area, Waldorf Town Center Mall and many nice restaurants (great for lunch breaks).
Responsibilities:
Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients.
Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Active Hygiene license for the state of Maryland
