- Data entry of patient info.
- Verifies accuracy of billing data and revises errors.
- Verifies and checks status on insurance claims as necessary.
- Monitors aging reports and takes such steps as necessary to guarantee payment of claims.
- Auto and hand post payments from all payers and patients.
- Maintain clearing house rejections.
- Identifies and resolves patient billing questions and complaints.
- Participates in take-back, overpayment, and refund processes.
- Any and all other duties as assigned by the Billing Manager, Director of Revenue Cycle Management or CFO
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience or education in Medical Billing required
