- Demonstrate leadership and further develop the clinical operations and scholarship within the division.
- Recruit and mentor academically outstanding faculty members.
- Grow multidisciplinary clinical programs.
- Oversee the education of medical students and residents in Adolescent Medicine.
- Supervise and collaborate with the Nurse Practitioner and dietician in the division.
- Expand research activities of the Division and participate in collaborative research projects within the division and with other departments or institutions.
- Engage in scholarly research initiatives and activities, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance patient care related to adolescent health and medicine.
- Contribute to the advancement of adolescent medicine services within the department, promoting evidence-based practices and innovative approaches.
- Participate in Department of Pediatrics Division Chiefs and Department of Pediatrics Faculty meetings.
- Serve as a resource for colleagues, medical staff, and healthcare professionals in matters related to adolescent health.

Position Summary
The Department of Pediatrics, University at Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and Oishei Children's Hospital of Buffalo (OCH) is actively recruiting candidates for the position of Division Chief of Adolescent Medicine.
Subspecialty patient services include:

The incoming Division Chief will:
UBMD Pediatrics is one of 18 practice plans within UBMD Physicians' Group, the single largest medical group in Western New York.
Our physicians make up the academic teaching faculty within the Department of Pediatrics at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo and at Oishei Children's Hospital.
