Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) seeks to welcome a new OB/GYN physician to join their team at Gotham Health/Morrisania, a community-based practice within the NYC Health + Hospitals System. Situated in the Bronx, Gotham Health/Morrisania has been dedicated to serving the South Bronx community for over 45 years. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), they offer integrated primary and specialty care with a focus on treating all New Yorkers with dignity and respect. • Full-time position with a 40-hour work week (Monday - Friday, with occasional late night and Saturday shifts)
• No on-call responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide primary healthcare services to non-pregnant, asymptomatic women for health maintenance, including family planning
• Identify and refer abnormal conditions to appropriate medical/social services
• Perform specific diagnostic procedures under physician consultation
• Detect and treat common gynecologic disorders following established protocols
• Manage therapy for specific gynecology conditions
• Offer guidance on female health issues such as sexuality, family dynamics, infertility, and menopause

QUALIFICATIONS

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Hold or qualify for a New York State License
