Job Summary
The Director Financial Reporting plays a critical leadership role within the corporate accounting function responsible for leading preparation of external reporting ensuring accurate complete disclosures in accordance with US GAAP SEC requirementsManage preparation review filing of SEC filings including Forms 10-K 10-Q 8-K ensuring compliance with US GAAP SEC requirements Collaborate with key stakeholders to clarify simplify technical rules regulations to ensure accurate complete data are provided to support key disclosures Active management of reporting calendar to ensure timely preparation review finalization of information used to support financial reporting Monitor provide analysis on changing new FASB or SEC disclosure rules that may impact future financial reporting Maintain update reporting policies ensuring appropriate interpretation communication implementation of new standards disclosure requirements Share insights actively participate in Disclosure Committee Working Group discussions drive informed decision making Executive Leadership Team Lead mentor develop team accounting professionals building capability accountability long-term bench strength
