The individual must have knowledge of laws and regulations of federal, state, and local governmental agencies. The# Director of Quality of Management responsibilities include managing, directing, and planning of all aspects of Quality and Risk Management. The Director is responsible for overseeing the# hospital-wide quality management programs and works with hospital administration, departments, and the medical staff to monitor and evaluate the quality of delivery of patient care services within the hospital.
Additionally, the director ensures there is proper compliance with all regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, and hospital policies and procedures; and will work to develop, implement, and maintain quality assessment and improvement programs within the hospital with the performance improvement team members.
#The Director of Quality of Management provides oversight to the risk management processes hospital wide and closely collaborates with administrative leadership to ensure success.
Additionally, the risk management must promote high quality, evidenced based practice, and evaluation of healthcare providers professional conduct to reduce risk and promote collegiate teamwork.
