Job summary
We are seeking a Heavy Duty Diesel Technician to join our team! As a Maintenance Technician B you will perform repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment trucks including chassis components vehicle refuse bodies control systems hydraulic electrical air brake systems general engine work HVAC components suspension drive train steering systems You will enjoy the benefits of working on a single fleet state-of-the-art equipment supporting our drivers as they run their routes servicing some of the most technically advanced vehicles on the road.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a working knowledge of moderate skill proficiency in following vehicle components systems preventative repair maintenance functions both onsite roadside
- Chassis component repair maintenance Refuse bodies including control hydraulic electrical systems air hydraulics braking systems
- Engine repair maintenance Suspension drivetrain steering heating cooling
- Safely provides road service when necessary ensure Company equipment returned operation safe efficient manner
