Beds: 2 triage rooms; 4 LDRs; 9 Mother Baby; C-section suite
Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years of

Experience with all aspects of
LDRP patient care, circulating c-sections, experience with newborn care to include heel sticks, 24 hr.
Must have the skillset to work

Support within the Department:
OB Surg Tech – 1 per shift
Receptionist/HUC – patient registration, visitor mgmt. and unit secretary duties
Charge nurse
Case Manager
RT, 24/7
Hospitalist or OB Physician, 24/7
Pediatrician
Lactation Consultants – Not hired yet as this is a brand new facility
Nurses Station and bedside fetal monitoring

Phillips
Panda Warmer, GE monitors/OBIX central monitoring
Floating:
Region - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises
If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
Within region and scope of practice
Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable

No call for travelers
Holiday Expectations:
Travelers will work 75% of holidays

Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours
