Job Summary
To provide diagnostic Computed Tomography Services to inpatients outpatients and Emergency Department patients under the direction of the supervising radiologist in accordance with established operating procedures and clinical protocols.Continually monitors patient condition during CT procedure.Documents patient charge data modifying and initiating charges as procedure modifications are made per the radiologist or ordering physician-Documents any allergic reaction iv extravasations or unusual occurrences.Initiates incident report regarding staff or patient situations-Maintains appropriate inventory levels of medical supplies.Performs daily quality assurance scans on all scanners prior to use to ensure safety of scanners for patients and staff- Documents daily QA in logbook-Promotes patient safety by reporting issues through established channels participating as requested in safety initiatives.-Initiates requests for emergency medical support as indicated by patient condition-Knowledge of when to call Code Blue/Rapid ResponseReports to work on time ready to start work.Maintains confidentiality of all patient/other information.Demonstrates teamwork cooperation works well with others.
