- Graduate from an Approved Respiratory Therapy School.
- Must hold current license by the state of Kentucky as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Proven strong clinical skills and strong communication skills.
- Minimum of two years' experience in the field of pulmonary and/or rehabilitation preferred.
- BLS certification - American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required, must be current.
- ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications or with in 6 months of employment.

Job DescriptionThe respiratory therapist is responsible for assisting, evaluating, and maintaining quality patient care, from infants to elderly; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
The respiratory therapist should maintain a positive working relationship with his/her staff as well as Physicians, LIP's and ancillary departments.
