- Disassembles unit and inspects parts for wear.
- Repairs, overhauls, or replaces:
- Pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings.
- Replaces carburetors, blowers, generators, starters, pumps, and distributors.
- Repair leaks in radiator.
- Repair or adjust headlights, radios, heaters, mirrors, and windshield wipers.
- Working knowledge of ignition system, lights, and instrument panels.
- Realigns and adjusts brakes.
- Writes service reports.
- Orders parts.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to write service reports.
- Ability to effectively present information in to customers and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

POSITION SUMMARY
Repairs and maintains all types of rental equipment, which includes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
High school or GED and/or five years of equipment experience are required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid driver license class C or higher. Must have a clean D.M.V. report.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands and fingers to handle and feel objects, tools, and controls and to reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
COMPENSATION
Pay Range: $ $38.00 Hourly
Wage depends on knowledge, skills and ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
