    Description

    Overview:

    Edgewater Federal Solutions is hiring a Sr. Help Desk Support Service Specialist to support a Federal contract in the DC area. This is a full-time position wtih full time benefits.

    Responsibilities:
    Resolves inquiries and requests for assistance with organization's computer systems or PC's; resolves customer inquiries for one or more products or services. Analyzes complex issues and determines appropriate technical area or vendor to resolve problems.

    Qualifications:

    Education: Associates degree (Bachelor's Degree preferred) or Certificates from technical training institute

    Experience Required: A minimum of five years computer support experience required. Technician is familiar with standalone and network computers, local area networks and wide area networks.

    In order to obtain a badge, US citizenship is required.

    Specialized Experience: At least five (5) years of specialized experience including Service Center support in a multi-server environment, comprehensive knowledge of PC operating systems (e.g., Windows), networking and mail standards. The technician needs to demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing and to have a positive customer service attitude. This is a Windows based position.
