- Provides necessary support for both SAP and Harvest Costing systems through data maintenance and analysis including monthly updates of SAP Inventory values as requested.
- Monthly Closing responsibilities include Balance Sheet Reconciliations for Finished Goods and Semi-Finished Goods Inventory, in addition to the preparation of Inventory revaluations due to distressed / aged inventory.
- Additional responsibilities include the execution the Weekly and Monthly Material Ledger processes in SAP.
- Provides support to the Product Costing Manager.
- Develops and provides ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested.
- Must have significant proficiency in Excel.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
- May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
- May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
- Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment

Summary
We are recruiting for a Cost Accountant who supports the Foods Product Costing Team through the maintenance and analysis of Standard Cost and Inventory Valuation.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Education and Experience Required
REQUIRED: Bachelors in Finance or Accounting plus - 3 years related work experience.
PREFERRED: CPA or CMA or MBA, Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods or Foods Products Industry
