    POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

    Moss' Solar Project Engineer, Engineering Management, will assist in managing project electrical, civil, and mechanical designs for our Utility-Scale Solar Panel projects.

    This position will have the opportunity to grow and support the success of the pre-construction team.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Learn to recognize electrical designs for the project, including single line drawings, DC and AC wiring diagrams, electrical site plans, and equipment layouts
    Learn the supporting calculations of solar power plant design, including PV string sizing, DC and AC conductor & conduit sizing, and tracker design & powering
    Meet with customers as required and provide engineering support, including responding to RFI's
    Assisting the engineering manager in coordinating meetings and taking detailed meeting minutes
    Responsible for document control for the design phase of the project lifecycle
    Assisting the engineering manager in tracking schedule dates and critical design items
    Responsible for initial review of design drawings and markups
    Perform other duties as assigned

    EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
    Minimum Bachelor's degree in civil or electrical engineering, technical field or related discipline
    Must have great attitude in working with the Moss team
    Eager to learn new engineering scopes outside of specific focus area
    Solar electrical systems background is a plus
    Good communications and presentation skills including the ability to organize and present complex technical information effectively in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
