Description

Our Client is searching for outgoing, compassionate individuals with 1 year or more of experience working in a school setting providing comprehensive school social work services to parents, students and school staff.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY:

• Direct Service minutes in the form of group therapy sessions- 9 groups a week at 45 minutes each group
• Documentation of direct service minutes
• IEP benchmark updates
• IEP/MDC meetings or written reports
• Evaluations/SDS

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
School social workers maintain case files and reports to track student problems and progress and to recognize patterns in behavior.
Once issues or behavior problems have been identified, school social workers assist in remediation by providing counseling, treatment plans or workshops.

REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:
LCSW or LSW or PEL
