- Close alignment with other Allina hospitals and facilities, including a network of five hospital-based clinics with over 80,000 annual visits.
- Receive referrals and coordinate care with primary care providers.
- Team members across the system including psychologists, nurses, complex-care coordinators, and social work services.
- Position is located at Mercy Hospital, Unity Campus
- Provide psychiatric services for child/adolescent patients in a hospital-based clinic who are experiencing complex mental health care needs.
- Services offered include diagnosis and treatment, individual therapy, discharge planning, medication management, biofeedback training and crisis services. We also offer therapy to manage stress, as well as neuropsychological assessments to address the relationship between the brain and mental functions like language, memory and perception.
- Closely aligned with Allina hospitals and facilitates referrals from the emergency departments and hospital discharges.
- Collaborate with a robust team of psychologists, nurses, and social work services - to better serve the complex patient population
- 90-minute child/adolescent intakes
- 30-minute child/adolescent follow ups
- Opportunity to work remotely/virtually once practice is established
- Daytime clinic hours daytime, will participate in call
- MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required
- BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required
- Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable
