- Assists in the performance of stereotactic biopsies, fine needle aspirations, and localizations.
- May be required to perform QA/QC testing as prescribed by the ACR, FDA, or state inspecting agencies.
- Assists radiologists as needed.
- Oversees daily work flow schedule and departmental functions.

Job Details:The Lead Mammo Tech under the direction of the Radiologist, performs various mammography services including bone densitometry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Valid NY State License. Must be certified in mammography. 2-4 years of mammography experience required. Excellent technical, organizational, and customer service skills. Must be certified in mammography.
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an approved School of Radiology.
OTHER:
If applicable, the individual performing this job may reasonably anticipate coming into contact with human blood and other potentially infectious materials. Individuals in this position are required to exercise universal precautions, use personal protective equipment and devices, and learn the policies concerning infection control.
