POSITION SUMMARY Provides assistance to nursing personnel by making patient meals, pickup and delivery of supplies and patient belongings, answering call lights, providing direct patient care under direct supervision of the registered nurse.

Care is delivered to patients in age groups of infancy, childhood, adolescent, adult and geriatric with patient#s age and unique needs considered.

Performs clerical functions by preparing, compiling and maintaining records in the nursing unit as directed by the registered nurse. Maintains established inventories in the unit. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Licenses and Certifications Required Current North Dakota CNA certification required BLS required within orientation period Educational Requirements Clerical training desired Experience Requirements One year of experience as NA preferred Special Skills or Training Requirements Communication skills Clerical perception Visual acuity Hearing acuity
