- Support parents and caregivers in their homes through provision of applied behavior analysis services for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Serve as the program manager/point of contact to manage a grant funded program
- Conduct functional assessments of behaviors using a variety of means, including reliable and valid assessment tools when indicated and direct and indirect behavioral assessment procedures.
- Develop and implements behavior support plans using current and ethical practices of positive behavior analysis. Requires good writing skills, the ability to meet deadlines, work with others, manage paperwork, and use basic math skills to assess data.
- Assists in dealing with behavioral/psychiatric emergencies which may include physical intervention and providing direction to staff members.
- Receives clinical supervision/consultation from lead behavior specialist or clinical supervisor, and/or doctoral level consultants.
- Assists with new employee training and supports behavior analysts in training. Provide supervision to BCBAs in training as assigned.
- Attends and participates in professional development such as conferences or continuing education as assigned. Maintains NY LBA/BCBA certification.
- Consults with other professionals such as psychiatrist, medical doctors, school or other counselors, etc.
- Participates in psychiatric clinic/appointments as needed.
- Adheres to ethical standards for behavior analysts and mental health professionals and Springbrook Behavioral Services policies/procedures, as well as all oversight agency regulations (OPWDD, SED, etc).
- Consult at other Springbrook locations/programs as assigned (may include preschool, school, or adult).
- Fulfills any other requirements/responsibilities as delegated by supervisor.
- All other duties as assigned.
- BCBA/NY LBA and Master's degree required. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software and e-mail applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word; have the aptitude to learn other computer software as necessary.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. independently and assist in lifting weights exceeding 50 lbs.
- Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required.
- Be able to perform all physical interventions.
- Travel across local counties and work a flexible M-F schedule.

Position Summary:
Oversee development and implementation of behavior support plans for individuals with challenging behaviors in non-certified settings across multiple counties. Work with families and caregivers to implement behavioral strategies/interventions that increase desired behaviors and reduce problem barriers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
o Observe across settings
o Provide education and training
o Assess problem behaviors
o Develop behavior support plans/strategies
o Collaborate with other service providers/team members
o Complete quarterly report
o Set and meet program milestone goals, billable and non-billable
o Partner with finance, administration and OPWDD to ensure program compliance
