    Position Overview and Responsibilities


    Summary

    We are looking for a dedicated Transfill - Warehouse Technician (Cylinder Filler) to join our Transfill Division. As a Transfill - Warehouse Technician, you will be in charge of filling high-pressure oxygen tanks and operating related equipment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Support in implementing quality improvement programs to meet company and JCAHO standards
    • Accurately complete written production and delivery documents
    • Adhere to all relevant company policies and procedures
    • Identify appropriate corrective actions for safety concerns or incidents
    • Acquire technical knowledge of the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME) offered by the company
    • Fill high-pressure oxygen tanks
    • Keep certification to fill and maintain equipment cleanliness
    • Perform maintenance on filling equipment to ensure safe operations
    • Manage territory to achieve oxygen service objectives in line with industry standards and regulations
    • Participate in regular hazardous material handling training
    • Pass and complete vendor training classes as required
    • Process all orders accurately and promptly
    • Report equipment issues and product incidents following company guidelines
    • Carry out other assigned duties

    • Qualifications


      Employment requirements include:

      • Successful completion of background checks (company-wide)
      • Clear drug screening (where applicable for the role)
      • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean record in the state of residence (where relevant for the position)

      Education and/or Experience

      • High school diploma or equivalent
      • Preferably one year or more of experience in warehouse or manufacturing roles

      Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

      • Proficient communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
      • Helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous with a positive demeanor
      • Ability to understand various instructions through different communication channels
      • Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)
      • Possess confidentiality, discretion, and careful handling of sensitive information
      • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
      • Ability to multitask with attention to detail
      • Capability to perform basic mathematical calculations using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
      • Self-motivated, organized, with strong time-management and problem-solving skills
      • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting

      Physical Demands

      • Lift objects weighing over 25lbs regularly
      • Require close vision for reading small print on screens or documents
      • Engage in sitting, walking, standing, speaking, and listening activities
      • Capable of loading, unloading, pushing, pulling, and lifting equipment

      Machines, Equipment, and Technical Abilities

      • Proficiency in email communication
      • Skilled in internet navigation and research
      • Familiar with Microsoft applications such as Word
      • Ability to operate office equipment like printers, fax machines, copiers, phones, and computers
      • Experience in using machinery for loading and unloading tasks
      • Understanding the operation of various home medical equipment and supplies

      Work Environment

      • Operate in warehouse conditions exposed to varying temperatures
