Description

Contract to hire opportunity for an experienced Windows Systems Admin. This role is onsite in Minneapolis, MN.


Client work authorization requirements:
US Citizen or GC holder.

What you'll do :
provide comprehensive support for applications, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal user experience. Collaborate with various departments to address issues promptly, minimize disruptions, and drive continuous improvement. Monitoring application performance, recommending enhancements, coordinating updates, and maintaining database and server integrity.

Offer end-to-end application support, resolving issues and assisting users as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve application-related challenges, minimizing business disruptions.
Monitor application performance, identify areas for enhancement, and make recommendations to improve efficiency and user satisfaction.
Coordinate with software vendors and internal teams to deploy updates, patches, and upgrades to applications.
Perform essential tasks related to SQL Server database installation, upgrade, configuration, and maintenance.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and upkeep of Windows servers to ensure reliability and security.
Monitor system health, conduct routine maintenance, and troubleshoot Windows-related issues.


Experience:
Extensive expertise in managing and administering Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Proficiency in Active Directory (AD) management, including user and group management, security policies, and domain controller administration.
Strong skills in system monitoring and troubleshooting, with the ability to proactively identify and address performance issues.
Familiarity with patch management and system updates, ensuring systems are up-to-date and secure.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically under pressure.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for successful collaboration with stakeholders.
