    Job DescriptionVAC-CON - Plant Maintenance Technician:Job description:The Plant Maintenance Technician will participate in the installation, repair, and upkeep of all facility assets, including manufacturing equipment, a fleet of overhead and other type cranes, a fleet of welding machines, LASERS, Plasma cutters, CNC equipment, Rollers, Benders, Mills, Lathes Robotic welders, Balance machines, Plate and angle rolling equipment, CNC saws, Paint booths, Sand Blast equipment, various mechanical systems, buildings, and other structures


    Requirements:


    An Associate degree is desired but not required, with additional coursework in maintenance engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering being a plus.

    Certification in an area relevant to maintenance, such as hydraulics or electrical systems, is usually also desirable.

    Equivalent Military training with experience may be substituted for the above.3 years' experience in an industrial maintenance technician roleStrong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
    Effective interpersonal and written communication skillsAble to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectivelyExcellent organizational and prioritization skillsMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Responsibilities:
    Keep, develop and report proper documentation on all asset functionality, readiness to perform and material condition.
    Work alongside outside contractors to perform activities, repairs, preventive maintenance on building equipment, and building and grounds appearance.
    Conduct equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventative maintenance.
    Inspect and evaluate physical plant, grounds, and related equipment. following maintenance procedures and ensuring implementationCarrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issuesChecking electrical and hydraulic systems of manufacturing equipment and buildings to ensure functionalityFollow all safety policies and procedures
