    Order Entry Technician Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

    • Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system with speed and accuracy.
    • Contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of client services, policies, and procedures.
    • Comply with government and department policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
    • Ensure safety policy and procedures are consistently adhered to and practiced.

    This is a remote position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as 401(k) and tuition reimbursement.

    Requirements:

    • Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations and state of practice.
    • Minimum of one (1) year working as a pharmacy technician (long-term care pharmacy preferred).
    • Knowledge of brand name/generic medications.
    • Experience with alpha-numeric data entry.
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

    Work Schedule:

    Schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business, but this position is primarily overnight and works 7 on/7 off.
