  • The Assistant Community Director is fully accountable in assisting the Community Director with the day-to-day property operations, and managing the asset to meet the client's expressed operational and financial goals.
  • Assists with the supervision of on-site staff, which may include: Resident Services Coordinator(s), Compliance Specialist(s), Leasing Manager, Leasing Consultant(s), Maintenance Supervisor(s), Maintenance Technician(s), Make-Ready or Rehab Technician(s), Groundskeeper(s)/Porter(s), Painter(s), and Cleaner(s)/Housekeeper(s).
  • Operate the property in the absence of the Community Director
  • Ensure that all online marketing sources are updated (e.g., Craigslist) daily
  • Assists the Community Director in maximizing revenue potential of the property through the management of lease expirations and timely turnover
  • Assists the Community Director with the management of monthly rent collections and delinquency to include timely deposit and security of funds according to FPI policies
  • Meet all periodic reporting requirements as requested/required e.g., Month End, Weekly Reports, Collection/Eviction Files etc.
  • Must have experience in affordable housing programs including but not limited to: LIHTC, HUD programs (Project Based Section 8, Section 236, PRAC, 811 PRA), USDRural Development (515), HCD, HOME Funds and Bonds.
