    The business analytics manager is responsible for evaluating sales, customer experience, and business processes and implementing strategies and techniques to improve sales and marketing functions by surfacing data, insights, and strategic thinking that address our most critical customer and business challenges.

    Responsibilities include gathering and extracting data from multiple sources, developing dashboards, and surfacing key industry, sales, and marketing performance indicators to help drive business decisions.

    This role will also be accountable for product demand forecasting and pricing, using existing processes and developing future tools and reporting dashboards.

    This role is critical in our ability to use data analytics to inform sales and customer experience strategies, planning, and effectiveness.


    Responsibilities:
    Business Analytics

    Identify gaps in technology and sales reporting and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize systems and refine the overall analysis.

    Create and maintain business reports to measure the effectiveness and business impact of customer experience, the voice of customers, sales, and marketing activities.

    Develop robust sales KPIs and scorecards for business performance monitoring.

    Assess, update, and maintain retail pricing structures and provide internal cost analysis to ensure competitive and profitable pricing for consumers and the company's revenue and profitability.

    Evolve from manual process utilization to leveraging real-time time-date through technology changes.
    Demand Forecasting
    Analyzing sales data to deliver accurate projections about market and business conditions, anticipated production levels, and other factors.
    Makes recommendations and presents forecasts to the sales and procurement team for business planning and product development.
    Regularly reviews sales databases, adding or maintaining new data as available.
    Consults with the procurement team to ensure raw material inventory reflects or will meet expected sales trends.
    Insights

    Provide insights and recommendations that will impact decisions such as territory planning, actions to onboard or terminate dealers, backlogs, order prioritizations, etc.

    Possess and exhibit strong analytical and reporting skills, including a thorough understanding of interpreting business needs.
    Work on large projects that require juggling and balancing many responsibilities and deadlines.
    Good at building on the creative ideas of others. Can effectively brainstorm and/or facilitate brainstorming.
    Process Improvement
    Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles data inaccuracies, and provides high-level consolidated analysis for various stakeholders.
    Evaluate current sales, marketing, shipping, and customer services processes that will lead to making actionable recommendations for process improvements.

    The aptitude for creating ideas that improve processes and/or products that provide cost savings, simplified operation, or efficiency (continuous improvement).

    Able to consider and implement solutions to practical problems or prevent problems.

    Strong experience performing essential business analysis activities, including gathering business requirements, documenting and validating the requirements through a standard set of documentation, and managing approved requirements through project completion.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Experience in data analytics; wellness industry experience is a bonus but not required. Strong analytical skills
    Must be highly skilled in Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans.
    Self-motivated, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
    Excellent organization and time management skills to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to compile information into unified reports.
    Exceptional analytical skills using Excel and business acumen.
    Can work remotely but be on-site as needed for meetings/events, etc. (~1-2x/week).
