Job summary
We are seeking a Shift Supervisor to join our team at Reworld in Preston, CT. As a Shift Supervisor,Your primary responsibilities include maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel at the facility
and ensuring compliance with company policies.
You will oversee the work of various personnel operating in accordance with all applicable safety regulations
, environmental limits, and permits. Additionally,you will direct emergency responses to injuries or accidents,
troubleshoot plant operational issues coordinate maintenance activities lead projects assigned by operations manager train employees troubleshoot equipment maintain records provide technical training supervise staff manage resources ensure adherence complete shift daily weekly monthly checks housekeeping maximize performance efficiencies troubleshoot equipment develop workforce motivate flexible skills cross-trained technically capable obtain site state-mandated licenses certificates hands-on experience high-pressure boilers electric generating equipment bachelor science preferred ability rotate shifts weekends holidays outage support vacation coverage physical demands walk stand sit climb lift/carry 50lbs wear full-face respirator consistently weather conditions
