    Position Summary
    This position is located in Akron, OH and full relocation assistance is being offered. It is NOT a remote position This person must live within a commutable distance to Akron, OH.

    The Project Engineer is a business facing technical role that is responsible for managing engineering projects and tasks across different business units.

    This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve process issues to maximize the benefit of product life cycle.

    (PLM).

    This Project Engineer must live within a 1 hour drive or so from our facility in Akron, OH in order to enjoy working in a hybrid work environment where they are expected to work approximately 20 hours per week in the office in Akron, OH (Tuesday - Thursday) and approximately 20 hours per week from home, if desired.

    Responsibilities

    Bachelor's degree in mechanical or computer sciences, MIS, or related business discipline(s) with 3+ years of relevant experience working as a Project Engineer or Product Owner with engineering teams.

    Knowledge with MS office products, Azure DevOps, or Jira
    Excellent communication skills, develop clear, concise, and logically written business communications, deliver recommendations.
    Self-starter with self-confidence, enthusiasm, and strong customer service orientation.
    Willing to learn new technologies & take on new projects to grow experience.

    Strong analytical skills, demonstrated organizational and leadership skills, examples of effective teamwork, and a track record of consistently meeting deadlines and due dates.

    Preferred Qualifications
    Experience in a Product Development/Manufacturing environment know how.
    Previous background as an engineer (mechanical, automotive, software, industrial, etc.).
    Minimum Qualifications
    3+ years' experience in a Product Development/Manufacturing environment coordinating, planning, and managing PI initiatives for a PLM/PDM software solution.
    Previous background as an engineer (mechanical, automotive, software, industrial, etc.).

    Ability to provide strategic PLM leadership and lead by influencing the creation of long-term strategic roadmaps in a virtual environment.
