Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) serves as caregiver to residents during scheduled work periods in long-term care facilities. Under the supervision of registered nurses, CNAs provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.

• Knowledge of age-appropriate care related to physical and psychological needs of residents as per individualized care plans.

CNAs assist with basic health needs including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining/recording vital signs, psychosocial support, and other personal cares for assigned residents.

• Transfer/reposition/walking using correct equipment techniques;
